- Tracking technologies and advertising: You can allow or refuse analytics and advertising measurement separately with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. You can also set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent.
- Targeted advertising: If you do not want us to use the information we collect or that you provide to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers’ target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by emailing us or using the opt-out mechanism provided in the email communications.
6. Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.
7. Cookie Information
When you visit our website, we may place various cookies on your device to recognize your browser or device ("Device") during the validity period of the respective cookie. Whether non-essential cookies require your prior consent depends on where you are located — see section 7.3 below.
This page provides essential information to help you understand what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
7.1. What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on a designated area of your device’s hard drive (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone) when you browse online content or advertisements. These cookies allow the party placing the cookie to recognize the device during its validity or storage period, track user activities, and collect previously stored information in various forms and platforms
Some cookies are essential for the functionality of the website, others optimize and personalize the content displayed to the user, while some are used for displaying advertisements
7.2. How Cookies Work?
Cookies do not directly identify a user but can associate the web browser or device ID with specific browsing activity. Information about the content viewed is linked to the identifier within the cookie. As users navigate the website, this identifier is associated with the pages viewed, clicks, and interactions, allowing full tracking of the user’s navigation behavior
7.3. Analytics, Advertising Measurement and Your Location
We use analytics services (Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics) to understand how the product is used, and advertising measurement (Google Ads) to measure how many people our ads bring to Ficonica. Google Tag Manager loads the Google and Microsoft tags. Analytics and advertising measurement are two separate choices: in the cookie banner you can choose "Necessary only", "Accept all", or open "Settings", switch each one on or off and save. You can change your choices at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
How we obtain your permission depends on the country your request comes from, which we determine from a coarse, country-level signal provided by our network provider. We do not store your IP address for this purpose.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Türkiye: analytics and advertising measurement are off by default. A banner asks for your permission on your first visit, and no analytics or advertising cookie is written unless you allow it.
If you are anywhere else (including the United States): analytics and advertising measurement are on by default and no banner is shown. You can turn either of them off at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Google Consent Mode: Google Tag Manager is loaded for every visitor together with your current choices. When you have not allowed advertising measurement or analytics, Google's tags do not read or write cookies for that purpose; they may send cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed or a purchase happened) that Google uses to estimate ad results in aggregate. Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics run only when you have allowed analytics.
Purchases: if you have allowed advertising measurement and came to Ficonica from a Google ad, we send the ad click identifier and the order value to Google Ads so the purchase can be attributed to the ad. In that case your billing details (such as email address and name) are also passed to Google's tag, which hashes them before sending (Google Ads enhanced conversions). Without your permission, none of this is sent.
Consent statistics: we count how often the cookie banner is shown and which choices are made, per day and country. These counts contain no identifiers; no cookie, device ID or IP address is stored for them.
In both cases, a choice you make yourself always takes precedence over the default for your region, and we honour it until you change it.
8. What Cookies Are Used On The Ficonica Website?
When you connect online to our Website, there are four different types of cookies that may be placed on your Device. These cookies are:
9. How Are You Informed About Cookies?
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Türkiye, a banner at the bottom of the page asks for your permission on your first visit before any cookie other than "technical" cookies is placed. Continuing to browse is not treated as consent: only the choice you make in the banner counts. For other countries, see section 7.3.
10. Cookie Preferences
You can change your analytics and advertising measurement choices at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. The services we use also offer their own controls:

13. Payment Security Cookies
Cookies can help combat Internet fraud (payment fraud, identity theft, etc.). Within this scope, subject to the rights you hold, Ficonica or service providers acting on behalf of Ficonica may use tracking technologies that collect certain information about the device you use when placing an Order. The "fingerprint" tracking technologies associated with your Order data are used to verify your Order, the payment method used, and the delivery method.

16. How Is Information Collected With Advertising Cookies
Advertising Cookies are stored on the user's device by tracking technologies ("Trackers") placed on the pages visited. These tracking technologies automatically send information about the content of the visited page or the advertising content placed on the page to us.
17. What Are The Advantages of Showing Ads Based on Your Browsing Data?
Our goal is to show you the most relevant ads that may interest you. To achieve this, the use of cookies helps us identify in real-time which advertisements are more appropriate for a device based on recent browsing history across one or more websites or applications.
